Weekly Tarot for May 28, -June 3, 2017

First up we have the lovely Nine of Swords - This is a card that definitely speaks of you being up in your head. There are times when worry and fear can lead our head to become a toxic waste dump of the negative. All it can take for some is an unexplained glance or an off-kilter comment for one's mind to ego into overdrive.

If you find yourself in this position this week where you feel that the world is against you or at least one or two people then I recommend taking a step back. Clear your head and then reframe. The fact is that nothing may be going on at all. They could have been talking

Full Moon Tarot May 10, 2017

I messed around with a few decks to see what information needed to be provided for the Full Moon and well this was the one I chose. The Legend, The Arthurian Tarot Deck offers us a dark view than most decks. While it may look dark, change can feel that way sometimes, especially when we have to look truthfully at our lives.

Based on a quick peek at the cards this Full Moon appears to be a doozy.  Keep in mind though a quick peek doesn't give us the details. The Full Moon is at 20 degrees Scorpio at 4:43 pm Central time. For more details on the Astrology click on the link and head over to The Astrology King Site.

Let's get to the cards.

Black Cats Tarot - A new Deck Review

So maybe a little too much detail about the first card but it just spoke to me. I flipped through the cards and loved the deck with each card. However, I handed the deck to my hubby and while he thought the images were cool he couldn't tell which was which. This comes to my point that if you are just starting to read this may not be the deck for you.

Internal Reality vs External Reality and Tarot

I have a client that I've read for a few years. Recently, they brought something to my attention that I find very interesting. They stated that the people who have come up in their reading were not something of this real world but more of their thoughts, hopes, and fears.

This is something that I've often wondered about when I got my first few readings. Can a reader pick up subconscious thoughts?

The Weekend Oracle Spread 3/17-19/17

I decided to offer something a little different in the way of readings. When I normally do a Thirty-minute reading I usually included this quick little down and dirty oracle spread.  This spread usually will allow for clarity on a path. It gives us the questions we might need to ask as well as the tools to help us move forward.  For this spread I use three different decks

How to Pick a Deck

There have been many of times when I've been asked questions about what I do. I usually get I would love to learn to read Tarot but I’m not sure where to begin. Most people will say start with the Rider-Waite deck. You can learn the story of the Fool’s journey and go from there. For many that’s fine. For my journey that wasn’t the case.

The first deck I had was my Mother’s Rider-Waite.  I looked through the book and tried to glean something from it but honestly, I never connected.  Partially I guess it was my fault that I didn’t grab the nearest paperback on Tarot and dive in. No, I just wasn’t feeling it.

Ace of Pentacles

Usually, when an Ace appears in the Tarot, it usually denotes that a new beginning is at hand, awesome right?

So for some their first thought might be money is going to be rolling in or maybe they feel that those lottery numbers are going to come in finally. It would be wonderful if the Ace could be taken at face value and you’d be rolling in the money big time.

However, if we stop and really think about a new beginning, in this case, it could mean quite a few things. Sure it could mean you have new money coming in but if we look past the surface it could simply be about your relationship with money.  Think about your relationship with the coin
